PERSONAL
Played collegiately at Arizona State where he was a teammate of Tom Purtzer, Howard Twitty and Morris Hatalsky. Joined the team as a walk-on and eventually won the Western Athletic Conference individual title in 1973 and was an honorable mention All-America.
Enjoys racing cars and raced seriously from 1985-92 in some Trans-Am races.
Enjoys spy movies.
Favorite golf course is Harbour Town GL in South Carolina.
Says the best shot of his career was his double eagle in the third round on the 18th hole at Westchester in 1982.
