The second round of the Shell Houston Open is set to begin. The Golf Channel will televise live action beginning at 3 p.m. ET.

Tee time Players   8:50 a.m. ET No. 10 Phil Mickelson, Anthony Kim, Lee Westwood Lee Westwood got the best of our Featured Group during Round 1. Who will take the second act? 9:40 a.m. ET No. 1 Boo Weekley, Chad Campbell, Jimmy Walker Jimmy Walker blitzed Redstone on Thursday, tying a course record, and gets a chance to play early Friday. 1:40 p.m. ET No. 1 Matt Kuchar, Hunter Mahan, Fred Couples The afternoon's featured grouping, Captain Couples gets an up-close look at two of his potential Presidents Cup players. 1:50 p.m. ET No. 1 Jhonattan Vegas, Davis Love III, Jose Maria Olazabal Young gun, and former Longhorn, Vegas leads the two 2012 Ryder Cup captains after one day of play. 2:20 p.m. ET No. 10 Nick O'Hern, Tim Herron, Brandt Jobe Nick O'Hern left the course with the lead on Thursday, but will likely have work to do once he tees off Friday.

Here are some of the players you'll see on the Golf Channel's coverage of Friday's second round

FRED COUPLES Fred Couples is making his 19th appearance at the Shell Houston Open this week. This week marks the site of Freddys last win the PGA TOUR in 2003. Including his win in 2003, Couples has carded six top 10s in his 18 starts in the Houston Open. MATT KUCHAR Matt Kuchar has been dominating the par 5s in 2011 ranking first on TOUR with a par 5 scoring average of 4.40. He also ranks 8th on TOUR in scrambling. Kuchar has continued his solid play in 2011 with five top 10s in his first seven starts (T-1st with Nick Watney). PADRAIG HARRINGTON Padraig Harrington is making his sixth appearance at the Shell Houston Open this week with his best finish coming back in 2007 where he finished T-24th. In 2011, Harrington has one top 10 in five starts and ranks 114th in the FedExCup standings (T10 at WGC-Cadillac).
