CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island launched a mobile website, providing access to tournament information on any web-enabled device. This launch marks the first time that Nationwide Tour Championship data is available via the mobile web, with this event being only the third on Tour to offer this service, joining events in Pittsburgh, Pa, and San Jacinto, CA. The mobile site can be viewed by visiting www.NationwideTourChampionship.com from any location, including the tournament grounds. The Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island, scheduled Oct. 24-30, 2011, is the Tour's season-ending event where the top 60 money winners compete for 25 PGA TOUR cards and a spot on the 2012 PGA TOUR.

Fans are now able to access live tournament data on any smart phone, anywhere, including the entire beautiful 7,446 yard, par 72, Rees Jones-designed Ralston Creek golf course throughout competition.

"Spectators and people everywhere will find that our mobile site is the perfect tool to easily access tournament information including our leaderboard, individual player statistics, and a wide variety of off-course happenings and specials," said Bob Moran, General Manager, Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island.

"We're excited to provide such a powerful solution that is capable of reaching all fans, regardless of what kind of smartphone they own," said Andrew Machota, President, MRA Media Group.
